RESCUE exhibition artist and curator, Joshua Thies will introduce visitors to his recent work. Traversing virtual landscapes via Google Earth, gazing at surfaces from various distances and introducing narrative fictions via text, sound and voice are strategies that will be presented. He will also talk about his role as a programer/curator in the context of Rotterdam, among associated artist groups and connected to the WOLFART Projectspace, a non-commercial platform for experimentation in visual art, performance, sound, music and food. Finally, he will discuss working with the other artists involved in RESCUE, on the subject of the archive related to education in art making.
ARTIST TALK: 6-7pm
