Join us for a performance workshop w/Tyler Matthew Oyer!
Cultivating Conviction will consist of a series of exercises seeking to activate the body, engage the voice, and focus the mind. Individual and collective performance material will be generated through dancing, vocalizing, meditating and writing. The objectives are to stimulate the individual body, to communally exchange our desires regarding what we want performance to be, and to experiment with how to make performance happen.
This workshop is open to ALL experience levels. It is for people looking to experiment with their own performance practice or to be introduced to performance in general.
WHERE: UCSB Art Dept RM 1237
